Nostalgia
If I could but relive those early times!
Playing at home once more
with my childhood friends,
relics of a half-forgotten time
when we were not controlled
by the clock
by schedules
by tests.
I stroll those precious paths
of memories
I travel those special moments
lived so long ago
that have left indelible marks
on my soul
precious scars that evoke
nostalgic memories...
No! Time cannot stop!
We cannot go back!
We must live in the present
without looking to the past,
tasting each sip from the
goblet of time
